This is the first place I've ever tried Honduran food from. Baleadas are now my favorite thing ever and I'm always craving them. The first time I ordered one for breakfast I kept taking bites of the Baleadas and saying "where has this been all my life". I also have had the Honduran spaghetti and it reminded me immediately of a macaroni dish my mom used to make when I was a kid. I have not visited the restaurant in person. My only real experience is through Doordash, but the food is incredibly delicious and comforting. So happy I tried this place out!
I'm convinced that all these 1-star reviews are competitors from surrounding hole-in-the-wall restaurants or disgruntled ex -employees because literally EVERYTHING I had here was delicious. The restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside but the inside is bright & happy & very clean with plenty of tables, a small bar & a counter with typical Central American snacks. The music perfectly matched the cuisine (absolutely hate when there's inconsistency with music & the food... totally throws off the vibe) & our waitress was so sweet, explaining all the dishes I had never heard of. Apparently, my dad had been bringing my son here for years but this was my very first time here. We were seated & of course went with the baleadas (which is essentially a large bean soft taco). We chose the BALEADA SENCILLA & added AVOCADO. My dad ordered a PLÁTANO RELLENO CON FRIJOLES, QUESO Y CREMA & I also ordered the CHICKEN SOFT TACOS. To drink, 2 LIMONADAS NATURALES. Ate every last bite of my huge baleada & took the tacos home for lunch the following day. Will definitely be back soon for more authentic Honduran food.
